Nothing

Alex Arnot

Once again I'm void of thought.

Mentally trapped in endless nothing.

The one part of life that time forgot

No joy nor anger, not even suffering.

Remnants of lines I've said before

Though this time I feel it's here to stay.

Even these words cannot restore,

The dreams I had on better days.

Fiction and reality have lost their voice

My next attempt to break the stasis

Writing these words to stir some noise

And perhaps create a better basis

Ahhh, writers block? But there, you've just done another poem!

    • Alex Arnot

True, though I knew it wasn't going to be one of my best.

Erm, strange that. We get writers block, and write about it, and then it becomes another poem - of sorts, anyway! lol. You upside down on purpose there?!
