Falling Apart

poetboy5454

"Heart-wrenching memories

In the ashes of broken dreams

Being blown away by a subtle breeze

Life falling apart at its seams

Blood spilt, yet never dries

Just like our tears, spilling from our eyes

Winds blowing and fires raging

Throughout this darkness we still cling

Sunlight breaking through the despair

Despite the injustice and hate in the air

Even when we yell because it's unfair

Truth and love melding a cracked heart

Each person with their own goals and part

Struggling to hold together while falling apart
