AshleyBerkelmans

Misguided
Loose minded
My head bows to tyrants

The ones who challenge everyday
With words and fight that pave the streets

Hope has become such a rare commodity

Like a flood my mind is filled
It's no better when I finally sleep
You want warm blood
Well mines chilled

With tongue twisting
Gut wrenching lines that pierce all meaning
The kind only boulders can knock straight through your ceiling

I'm rendered a broken man
One of only circumstance
I know of who I want to be
But he's not ready to be me

If I spoke every thought I ever had
I'd sign the warrant for my death
It would end soon
It would end fast
I'm not like other heretics

Stay in my mind
I promise nothing but politeness
Misguided
Loose minded
But all you could ever strive for

I may be in a state of pain
But don't think I'll give up now
'Cause even if there's little hope
You can bet I'll turn it round
