Pisces counterpart

I am the air that will never stop you.

For when you dive. Not because I do not care; but because you are limitless.

Slowing you will only damage your wings of the sea.

Your cool waters entice me.

They capture and hold me hostage.

I struggle in your wake, yet I fight so hard to become as delicate as your stroke.

The way you glide through the water, you are entirely in your element.

And I; a bird sunken in the sea.

You are unlike fire, for I do not feel a burning passion for you.

I feel serenity, intimacy.

At ease in your wet embrace.

You paint a beautiful picture of yourself and your boyfriend relaxing at sea. If baseball is the American pastime, then beach vacations must be the American Dream.

A solid poem, not focusing overly much on silly rhymes or restricting formulae, rather remaining simply expressive and heartfelt.

Lol, I'm a Sagittarius... I often feel as if I have no natural partner, and end up lolling into spells of my melancholy nature... but this poem fills me with gladness, all the same!
