Hope

poetboy123

In times like these, where flames rage on

And the night's cold embrace seems endless

We must never forget there will be another dawn

And that stars can shine brightest in the darkness

Even though hate is spread around in the air

Infecting hearts and minds with growing fear

Love and peace can still be found, this I swear

Even in the smallest actions, the clouds will clear

The rain will pour, blood will run across the floor

Screams will be heard, and scars will be left

To this endless disease plaguing us, there is one cure

Our voices must roar, we must bring the truth with deft

The planet is dying, greed encompassing the rest

Species exterminated, this will be our true test

To see if we can unite in time before the end

Only then do we have a chance for this to mend

Everything has nearly been swept into the darkness before, we had to cope

Despite this death and destruction, evil and hate, greed and fear, we MUST HOPE
