REACHING FOR THE SUN!

Dford1

Reaching for the Sun!

The winds howled outside my window, just as they’d done in days’ prior.

The marked difference, however, was the frozen precipitation blanketing the land.

The cold-white flakes clung tightly to the tree branches, with visual delight.

The frigid air and vast winds did not ignite pleasure.

The picturesque forests proudly displayed their inhabitants, while the trees danced.

And, though, this display warranted recognition; creating distance was a must!

For clinging too tightly may induce deception, coupled with betrayal; and ultimate, distrust!

I don't believe you are talking about nature here. I read it as a metaphor for current happenings. Enjoyed.

    Great metaphorical work.
