Haunting

NightShade279

Through the hallow wind and wood they shake

Blistering cold and haunting winters they brake

Wolves howl and the moon shines

The earth shakes, the worlds collide

Though you cannot see, the heart still breaks

Like glass it shatters to pieces on the floor

The pain is unbearable, like a shrill scream though a glass door

The tears are an ocean, a never ending sea

Captured in time, prisoner to the past

Unable to move on, unable to breathe in

Can't fight this anymore, all things forgotten

Seemingly cruel and bitter

The heart does not deny the pain of a new day

Fall into shadow and shade

Or let the past be remade
