Sea of Sorrow

Tweebtaztic

I try to force myself to sleep
Try to avoid the memories buried way down deep
Try to hide the constant pain I keep
But from my eyes it always seeps
Salty and hot it escapes
Down my face like fluid drapes
This open wound in my heart gapes
From all the blows my heart takes
From all the times my heart breaks
And my body shakes
As my soul quakes
From the wakes
Of all the strength it takes
I crawl on in spite of the pain
Which is a constant bane
Never does the battle wane
As I drown in the constant rain
With nothing left to gain
No victory to win
As I'm struck over and over again
The sound of agony begins to deafen
I'm blinded by all I've seen happen
Breaking down on hands and knees
Begging anyone to hear my pleas
Im dying of this oppresive disease
As my reality fleas
For expectations I could not appease
Sinking in the despairing seas
My chest is tight I only weeze
I cry out I cannot breath
Over my head waves of torment heave
As they try to smother me
With each splash they cover me
There is no ground under me
Only fathoms of darkness thundering
I try to swim but I sink below
My lungs compress then let go
Water replaces my airflow
My limbs wave to and fro
Bubbles float up as I drift down
Without a single sound
Where I'll never be found
As i hear my last heartbeat pound
Blackness is the only thing around
In sorrow I have drowned

Memories buried way down deep still come in mind and puzzle mind entirely. I try to sleep but sleep does not come. I hear pound of my last heart beat. I have drowned in sorrow in this wonderful world of suffering. Sadness is wonderfully expressed in this beautifully worded poem.
