Fits tune: Randolph
('God be with you till we meet again')
Based on parts of Psalm 53
********
The fool says in heart, There is no God
Corrupt they, abominable deeds done
There is none that does good, not one
The fool says in heart, There is no God
God looked down from heaven upon men
Seeing if any did Him seek
None understood, all gone back, weak
God looked down from heaven upon men
Those who continue sin, know they not?
Who eat up God's people as bread
Have followed evil ways instead
Those who continue sin, know they not?
God shall put His enemies to shame
Those who oppress sore, persecute
All their troublous deeds shall refute
God shall put His enemies to shame
O that salvation of Israel
Would come out of Zion, tongues tell
How He would redeem them, do well
O for salvation of Israel!

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 9.8.8.9. metre. Seemed easier to repeat the first and last lines, as in the original hymn. I've not sung it a lot since leaving Primary School at age 11 (!)

Great job orchidee. It is great poetry.
Thanks all. I suppose they are hymn-poems / psalms / prayers - all or some of these could apply. Feel free to call them what you will.
