Ransom

Edthepoet

Honey would you miss me
As much as your whiskey
If the single malts run dry
Honey won't you give me
The life you described
When I first looked
In your eyes

Baby would you miss me
As much as your gambling
If the lucky streak done died
Baby don't you give me
Those puppy dog eyes
This life is passing
us by

You've held our love
to ransom
But My prides
Not buying this time
Though my heart may be broken
I can't keep living this lie.

Too good for a country and western song😯, Though it would work ad lyrics. Live the ideas and images it evokes
