Miles and Miles

Edthepoet

Love me not for my tenderness
Leave me not for your fate
Forget me not for my restlessness
Now you're miles and miles away
I wish I'd asked you to stay.

Kiss me not for my loneliness
Kill me not for your gain
Think of me not for my hopelessness
Now you're miles and miles away
Why didn't I ask you to stay

Did you feel something real
And run for the hills
Was my heart to much to take?
Did you see something true
And shoot for the moon
Was I a moment to late?

Very good. Really enjoyed the rythms and the flow. Good 'story' too.
