My mother, my friend

Cookiemiller

  • No one knows me like you do....
You have been there for everything I have been through...

Always encouraging me telling me I can...
Staying by my side when others have ran...

    Teaching me wrong from right...
Telling me things don't come easy and if I want them I have to fight...

I may have not have been the easiest kid to raise...
Running away and making you cry for days ...

Getting pregnant at such an early age...
Hugging me when you should have been full of rage...

With dad I had no choice...
Against him I had no voice...

He took that baby from us...
The pain in my heart was worse than getting hit by a bus...

Laying in bed crying that night, you holding me ever so tight....

Letting me know it was going to be okay...
We all make mistakes in a different way....

Getting married you stood up with me....
Before we knew it there was a baby to be....

I wanted you with me and witness my sons birth...
I didn't want to share that with anybody else on earth....

And from that moment I knew ..
Why you felt that way you do...

A baby placed upon my chest...
Was I ready for the test...

Remembering all the things that you did...
    Making me a happy kid....

Making sacrifices for a life so new....
A life depending on me like I did you....

Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
I will love you long after we part...

Your not only my mom you are the best friend I ever had....
Thank you for being there through the good and the bad...

I can not tell you how much I love you....
We would be here for days if I do....

    Oh lord I thank thee....
The best mom ever was given to me ...
