A little bit of my mind.

Mello

This is a message to you earthlings,
That only thing life is living during the weekends,
working crazy hours in a job they don't like,
Taking shit from douche bag David and crazy Mike,
Just waiting that hour until you can drink yourself to death,
under water you can't wait until you get your grasp of breath,
Looking at all those fake smiles on Instagram  pictures,
Just thinking of what it would be like if you were just richer,
Step back and look at what's ahead,
Another A student his future is bright they said,
Now he works at an office with his suit and tie,
high standards in which he does comply,
Happily married with two boys of his own,
But lately his being distanced and she felt alone,
Could this be what just utter disgrace,
Another soul but between her legs is his face,
What was, is just lawyers and there big suitcase,
And in her face he reads it's just too late,
That night he seen the lowest point of life,
Surly he seen the tip of the knife,
His art has died with his dream and family,
Mortality defeated and living with the agony,
Now he numbs the pain with booze,
To get rid all of his blues,
So listen to me you earthlings,
That only think life is living during the weekends,
Forsaken as we are ahead theres always a bright star,
Trust me everything you need is not that far,
We all need an hour of just good meditation,
With a little love and bit touch of dedication,
Stress is only in our heads for just now,
I know mistakes have been made somehow,
But life is living for tomorrow and today,
And In good time everything will go away.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote it as it was coming to me. Too depressing of story I know but it's just interesting to me at time what I come up with. I got rid of some lines that were rude I guess. It's fine art
