A Loss for Words

Gino

Reminiscing on a blue nostalgia
teetering on lasting words,
...hearkening on a bye-gone word
defying breathtaking worlds...

Lingering on a radiant smile
in a half sunset duet, from a mile of partial excellence
...transcending beautiful apathies
that twilight my summerset hues...

Brilliant luminaries
highlight my evening in a pretentious accord,
softly keening on a beautiful adorn
inside a madness that consecrates me,
...kneeling before statues that desert me...

...Waking from an evening dismay;
the world gathers half circle
under a cloud of pause and longing,
...chasing shadows that summon
unceasingly on a merry go round of uncertainties,
blasting the bitterness that follows
into a certain night of dreams...
