SARCASTIC DEATH

DaveG

Come you all and stand by my bed

Who will still be there when I am dead

Look deep into the hole of fear

Conscience may make you shed a tear

Tell me will you cry

Or are your eyes truly dry

Do not wait until I am in the earth

Come see an old man at death

Never there when I needed you

In at the last hour to be true

Will you show face like I ask

Or is it just a sympathetic mask

Come will you sit by my bed

Or will you wait until I am dead
