I pray for you my closest friend,

I pray your heart is what God does mend.

Darkness falls upon us all,

Let the light show us - so we don't fall

I walked the edge and wanted to go,

But god sent me a friend and now I know.

Know not to lose hope and fall prey to bitter thought,

Know not to let anger tear me apart.

Don't let my heart get hard and distraught,

Be strong in my mind and let love in my heart.

I almost forgot and slipped away,

But god sent a friend to save me that day.

Just when I thought all my hope was gone,

He made sure that you came along.

I could never pray for more than that,

So I dropped to my knees right where I was at.

I said a prayer and thanked him for you

Now all I can do is send my prayers to you!
