Goodbye

This is farewell.
I know this is hard.
I know it's devastating for everyone I love.
But it's my decision, and I'm holding to it.

I've now gotten to the point of life where it's not worth it anymore.
All I live each day is more hours of sadness.
All I live is more time of suffering.
And I can't take it anymore.

I know you love me very much.
But I also know that I am now only a burden in your life.
My time has gone very long.
And now, it's run out.

I've lived how I wanted to live.
I've done everything I've wanted to do.
I've done my bidding in this life.
And I'm ready now to let go.

So, please know now that I love you with all my heart.
Please know that I'm doing this as a benefit for us both.
Please know that this is how it needs to be.
And that I'll never forget you.

Remember that I'm not always gone.
Remember that I'll always be with you.
Know that my love will live on through you.
And that we will see each other again.

I'll love you forever.
I'll never really be gone.
And as long as you remember,
