On hearing of a dead baby found in a river

Bryso

Water, where life was first born.

Teeming, life-giving element; nature’s womb.

Your purpose to give, not take away;

To create, not destroy.

Why then this mockery?

    Thoughtful write. I read of a so-called comedian making jokes about dead babies - monstrous. I doubt I shall ever find him funny again. Not that he was that funny before anyway! doh!

      Thanks, appreciate your response. Would agree with you about the 'comedian'. Sounds pretty insensitive.

        Thanks B. The horror of it was that a couple were in the audience who had recently lost a baby. Maybe some others in the audience too who experienced the same thing in the past.
