Fury

poetboy123

I can feel it growing somewhere deep inside

A cold, dense statue, within it a flame of fury

I desperately hold on, no where to run and hide

A ferocious beast of great magnitude set free

Inconsolable, I feel it begin to thrash about

Locked in its cage, struggling to get out

A part of me is starting to just let it go

I won't! It can't be right, this I know

Using it as a tool to further my goals

Rage as a fuel to build a brighter future

The question is, will it leave me whole?

I need a new truth, detaining this anger

Even deeper within I feel a new fire

Filled with an honest passion

To the tallest heights I will aspire

Sprinting towards the finish line, till I've won
