I am nothing when I hear my thoughts go back to the bathroom sink to ponder,
and I always know the time and when to stop like the famous actor.
I can see you turn the table with nothing left but silent devotion,
and you are always stood by the bathroom door planning your escape from adenium.
I don't need another friend; one more good friend can't silence the howling,
because I am sat by the bathroom sink reading all of your notes and I feel like lightening.
I want a lover like a lover wants a friend, so keep it spinning and don't tell me when it stops.
I want a lover like a lover wants a friend, so don't stop dreaming, we will be there before it stops -
And to quote what I hold:
"On the crest of a wave.
To start once again.
With the stars in our face."

- Comment from author about the poem: So... This is it, the first time that I have ever let anyone read my poetry (other than myself of course) and apart from the ominous apprehension that clings to me, with feedback being the only thing with enough authority to loosen its grip, I feel confident that there is at least someone out there that this poem will resonate enough with to have a positive effect on - although even a minuscule amount of written feedback would be great if you can muster it: these claws are sharp.
