Love, Hurt

lovelydarkanddeep

I was in love with you

and we were happy to be alive

we didn't care what others thought

it didn't matter, we were us

and then it suddenly fell apart

you found them and pushed me away

you just left me, left me to hang

i was hurt, and in pain

so I decided right then and there,

I'd end it all, to end the despair

  • Comment from author about the poem: So as it is obviously known, I didn't end it, I stayed. I was too weak, and I couldn't bear hurting loved-ones. And to be honest, even though I don't have the best life now, I'm just glad I still have mine.
