Dear Friend

Annonymous

Dear friend,

You are the kind of girl who goes about her day as if everything in your life were perfect. You finally got what you always desired and that was to be wanted, to be somebody again. You wanted to be noticed and now you are. Does is mean you are happier now though? Is this real? what you have, does it make you a better person? I don’t think you realise the damage you will be causing yourself later in life. You had real friendship, brutal it may have been but it was 100% the naked truth. Every word that was said that may have hurt you was not to cause you any pain but to open your eyes, to make you look at what was real. But…you blew it. You caved. Being your friend wasn’t enough, you wanted to be a part of something else. You went back. You had to be more than just somebody they used to be close to, you needed them to need you because you felt they were superior. You might deny it but those girls weren’t your friends. I still don’t believe that they even are. Good luck, I hope you find what you were looking for and if you don’t…I might still be there for you. In fact, I always have been and probably always will be.

Sincerely, the one you left behind.
