Ahh, the American Revolution, man those were the days
Where rebellion was abuzz and set out on a blaze
Ignoring the dozens of mutinies that had conspired
The American Revolutionary war was truly one that inspired!
It created a fair government, led by 55 rich white males
Finally the ideals of liberty and justice weren’t tall tales
Sure some had suffered, poor white males and black slaves
And the Native Americans, but it’s okay, what’s left of them are graves
So hop onto our bandwagon and cheer on the free
Despite the propaganda so our wrongdoings they don’t see
If you ever thinks something needs to be changed well
Don’t ever protest or speak out, there’s no need to tell
However, if you do, here’s what will happen
We’ll just send our riot officers to have some fun
Instead why not go voting? (since it’s worked so well before)
So just sit back, and enjoy our pointless wars
