In My Room

Laurie christine

Gettie up and down

In a faint little sound

It came from the corner of my room

There stood a little mouse

With a hole for a house

She was playing horsey with her broom

Tiny little straw and a tiny little stick

All tied together with grace

She had tiny beady eyes

and a cute little nose

And  a tiny pink dress with lace

I looked at her and she looked at me

And she began to giggle

Her whiskers shook and her ears stood straight

And her tail began to wiggle

Now that little mouse she ran from me

I tried to catch her but I couldn't you see

She ran inside that hole for a house

And from that day on

In my room lived a mouse
