The gray dawn baptized,
—a child of night
Salvation hostage,
—imprisoned light
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
Inhumanity
Man's inhumanity to man,
knows no country, religion, or race
Man’s inhumanity to man,
the one shame that all time can’t erase
Man’s inhumanity to man,
as constant as the spring driven rain
Man’s inhumanity to man,
—rising over and over again
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
That Horse
Every scepter, every throne,
reverts again anew
The god’s, their will divided,
—an Iliad of ‘truth’
A war of good intentions,
paved avenue to hell
Honor shamed, by Zeus renamed,
—that horse where judgment dwells
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
Change
To change the way you act,
—change the way you think
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
