I see life behind a shade
Beyond the veil of gentle rain
Monochrome and silent, still
And perfect amount of soothing chill.
In perfect dreams I long for this
where ecstasy lies in lonesome bliss
In the darkness where I sleep
This dream of life I wish to keep
Accessing color through black and white
The doorway opens when I escape the light
Within the blindness I can see
And awaken when I rest in peace
