Wonder

jasemine26

I wonder what it would be like for the world to be silent?
To lay against the cold ground and watch the world go violent
Why must we fight for no reason?
Why must we give people a reason?
To call us out our name, ignorant and stupid
You look around the room but there is no one else to blame...
It was you the one who pulled the trigger
To take matters in your own hands and try to come out of it bigger
Do you feel better? Did it solve your problems?
No cause now your laying in jail with a million and 1 problems
Stop giving the white man something to talk about
We didn't come this far from slavery to still be talked about
Stop making us statistics and start making us Billions
Then you wonder why people treat us the way they do
It's cause you give them a reason to do so and continue to act like a fool
Rise up and speak everything you was taught and know
Show them black people will last for eternity and that's how the story unfolds
