leexicaat

My eyes are vacant.

My limbs are numb.

As I try to find out,

Where loving you had come from.

I can't really tell you,

The moment I had known,

Your arms are where I belonged,

Or when I realized,

You had someone else in your eyes.

You pulled away,

When I tried to pull you closer.

Knowing you'd never stay,

But hoping it wasn't already over.

My eyes are vacant.

My limbs are numb.

As I try to figure out,

Why I loved you most.
