A City Day

Nameless

Here comes the dawn,

The city fades,

The city’s night more home to me than day.

Boston bound,

I hope to live,

Yet i've never hated the sunlight more than this…

And with that, I’m sore to say,

I wish I did not live another city day.

Boston is fantastic day or night! ( Go Sox, Go Pats!!) You're right though, city living can be depressing, but they are great places to visit. Nice poem, different topic, one to ponder. - Phil A.
