Money Isn't Evil

Money is the root of all evil
At least that's what they say
I say it's the people primeval
The ones causing pain each day
As money buys homes, food, and care
Evil is money that will not share

They pay for weapons in abundance
And yet can't help the poor
It's not equality they finance
It is their cruel desire for war
We could be healing the sick
Blaming money is a mere trick

Money is NOT the root of all evil
As it got medicine in the world
It could be used to make a place peaceful
Yet we watch atrocities unfurl
Money is neither good nor bad
When good people get it be glad
