You look tired, come lay down with me. Our song playing in the background, my head on you're chest. Afraid to let go, let's dream together while we rest.
Listen to my heartbeat, It will erase all you're fears. I'll never turn my back on you, I'll wipe away all you're tears. I wait for you to fall asleep first just so I can keep you safe, this Beautiful insomniac's sleep can wait.
Like a butterfly we fly away, into the clouds we both will disappear. Our wings might be tattered and torn, but we are beautifully broken and special in our own way.
I'll be you're wings...
