The Sun

elsiewarrenswords

The sun gracefully traced my shoulders with her fingertips,

Pausing at intervals to explore and get a grounding of the almost transparent skin I hold.

Breeze flowing past the soles of my feet,

Creating delicate currents through my body,

Tenderly awakening the goose bumps from their hibernation.

It was at this precise moment that I realised I was as dainty as a fragile speck of grass.

Blowing smoothly,

Refusing to be beaten, using the Sun,

Rain,

Wind to my advantage.
