Will He Leave Me Chocolate While I Sleep?

Will He Leave Me Chocolate While I Sleep?

Eggs in basket painted colorful and bright
Paw prints left in the dark of night
Was it the scene of a crime?
 Or just a happy time
Before we grew up and built walls
We let the Unicorns out their stalls
To fly where the fairies play
 Into the skies of yesterday.

 Alone in my bed
Happy bunnies hopping in my head
Anxiety, anxiety I’m In way too deep
Will he leave me chocolate while I sleep?
 Green meadows and pastel skies
 So happy I could cry
 Tired eyes
 So happy I could cry
 Tired Eyes.

 "Mommy Daddy look, look!
He has hopped out of the pages of a book
He brought candy but he did not stay
Oh, why did the bunny hop away?"

“Rabbits like people will come and go
and in our hearts we miss them so
And in the love they give
Are the real moments in life we live."

So leave some carrots for the bunny
For he will not work for money
He will only be a friend
If you give him love that never ends
Love that is sacred and true
My parents gave it to me
And I give it to you!
