One life

RobertFrost050797

One morning, there I woke
Feeling all upbeat, I was almost glad
But by then, the dream had broke
I saw myself as a downward slope
As I understood, my choices were very bad.

One afternoon, there I lay
Gazing up towards the sky
Wondering where my mind had strayed
I felt as if I'd lost my shade
As if someone was holding me, on a blade.

One evening, there I was
Reflecting upon my life
Analysing all my flaws
All I did was have a little pause
That caused in my life, such a strife.
