Moonlight

Wackyheartache4

Long ago there was a man, held all in high esteem. Forever cursed to travel under moonlight's steely gleam. Through day, you're safe to roam, never in the night. Your fate's sealed at the ghouls mere sight.

With cunning wit, he'll draw you in and throw you off his scent. He wouldn't want you running off,  you won't escape your end. Whisper sweet nothings in your ear, you'll be laughing at his jests. Before you know it, you've been had! Deception at it's best.

For centuries, sustained himself feeding off the weak. Let him catch you after dark, the outcome will be bleak. He'll pin you up against the wall, and put you in a trance! If only you'd seen the signs, spared a second glance. The thought to run evades you, no hope of being saved. From this point on, you're his slave! Vacant stares fixed straight ahead as teeth sink into soft flesh. His victims never seen again, all rot inside his nest. All too soon, the sun creeps up, rising from the east. He shies away into the crypt, for light will kill the beast.
