Your Words

Brycycle

As my ears acknowledge the careless words,

My mind attempts to suppress them.

As my eyes witness your vexed face,

My thoughts then begin to race.

You finish your altercation,

I feel the vibrations as the door slams.

I have a moment of hesitation,

It's difficult because I see no explanation.

For Your Words have a negative impact,

which i know you won't retract.

So I'll just have to deal with it.
