shining star

willyweed

Life is cruel, sometimes it’s hard
There go I, but for the grace of God

She was lonely for the daytime
She was living for the night
She never saw the sunshine
Just the neon lights

I found her in the lobby
Of a cheap motel
She needed her connection
She wasn’t doing very well

Life is cruel, sometimes it’s hard
There go I, but for the grace of God

I took her to the sidewalk
And helped her to the car
Although she may be broken
She’s still my shining star

I took her home to heal her
I sat with her to pray
I asked the Lord in Heaven
To help her find her way

Life is cruel, sometimes it's hard

There go I, but for the grace of God

It takes courage to deal with those types of problems, both for the victim and the healer. Keep up the good work. - Phil A.
