Temporary

Jmanning5

Temporary

From temporary love, to temporary fame
I tend to realize that everyone I talk to is temporary
My life is just like light
I can only shine bright, for so long
Until I'm gone
I make myself believe the false connections
Only to be lost, looking for love in the wrong directions
Love is just like highway, they come and go
But I refuse the go with the flow
I'd rather choose the road less traveled
All the times my heart and mind battled
I came to the conclusion
That having things last forever is just an allusion
Love is only half of what causes the confusion
