scarred minds

the grass is always greener

on the other side

i guess thats why some people

break down and start to cry

they think they have no purpose

and that is very sad

they say they do not want to live

and that is very bad

they seem to take the knife

or they take the pin

and place it sharply

on their skin

they do this for a purpose

a reason to live

they do it cause their sad

and have nothing to give

they look at all the ropes

pills and cable ties

to think of ways to kill themselves

without having to die

they dont want to hurt

but no one seems to care

whenever they needed someone

they weren't there

theres nothing i could do

nothing i can say

to get rid of those memories

and take the pain away

but theres something i can do

is tell you that im here

tell you that im always around

and you'll always have me near.
