bright at night

mocuisle

As i walked out into the night

i stepped onto the green

the darkness has no light

not everything can be seen

the grass it ate my feet

and the cold it made me freeze

as the grass swallowed my feet beneath

the wind it blew its breeze

there is no answer to my question

i stare up at the sky above

i hate reality, it causes my aggression

the only thing to save us now is love

standing here breathing in the air

people have wronged me here before

but i wish it hadn't now been her

for my heart beat in my chest is sore

but i think i understand now

they're in a bad place

and the question is how

will i bring them back safe

the path is surely difficult

and the worst is yet to come

but im sure ill get the result

and bring them back from

stepping off the grass

my journey here it begins

my fears i walk right past

ill not come back until i win

i found hope in the night

when everything was black

i still found some light

there is no turning back
