It's Time

Zana

Him: "How could you do this to me?" Turns me around to face him.

Me: "What did I do?"

Him: "Are you going to act dumb?"

Me: "Can't act dumb if I don't know what your referring to." Dead stare, to those eyes I still love.

Him: "You left me, walked out, left me to be alone." Trembling in his voice.

Me: Slight chuckle "You can't leave what's already left. You left us! I was last on your list of priorities. Work came before US, friends came before US, your desire for other woman came before US. You came before US. I was just too blinded to see the truth. Loved you to my core. You don't call to say you're not coming home or coming late. A day turn to two then three, now you spend weeks away."

Him: "I do put you first. Work is busy you know this. What other women?"

Me: In tears "Yes, I found out about your multiple women. Your long trips finally added up to what I knew deep down. The abundance of videos I found on your phone, in our so called 'HOME', in hotels, cars, their homes. If I came first why is that your phone is your main squeeze. You cant let go of it. All you dirty little secrets are in it."

Him: Angrily "You went through my stuff!" "How dare you!"

Me: Blank stare "All I can say is, how dare you put me in danger like that? Unprotected sex with more than one women with in days, weeks, months. the least you could have done is use protection you piece of shit! Oh! Work couldn't have been that 'busy' You found the time give your love and attention to other woman."

Him: Turned away from me, shaking his head.

Me: "Just pretend that you're on a permanent vacation away from me. The one you always kept away from."

As I close the door relief pours over me. I know I can continue to be happy and not worried about someone who doesn't want me to be. He pushed me to the edge, took my youth away, kept my love and stop showing me love. A first love isn't always the only love. Just a life experience.
