I thought i was in love with you.
It seemed so real
Picturing you and me together
I thought you shared this feeling.
You said you could see it
i didn't realise you didnt want to see it.
You were the woman of my dreams
I literally dreamt of you most nights.
You said you dreamt of me
It was at this moment that i thought it was real.
It wasn't until later that you destroyed my heart
Not only destroyed but ripped out, spit on, and stomped on then burned right in front of me.
You said sorry it wasnt my intention
I dont want to lose your friendship.
It was that moment i didn't love you.
It was silly to love someone you barely knew.
I was in love with the idea of you.
The idea of your love.
Just the idea of love.
