She stands and stares in the mirror
But she doesn't recognize this girl
Something has changed
Something in this girl has been lost
What it is she does not know
Instead of strength, she sees weakness
Instead of a smile she sees a frown
Instead of happiness she sees despair
Instead of confidence she sees a girl who would rather hide

Mind full of shame and weakness

Who has she become?
