Ode to The Galaxy

Lizzy Renee

Look at the wondrous,

Stupefying Galaxy,

Stars shine ever so Bright,

That they light the night.

Moons, Planets, and Suns,

Bringing hope to everyone.

Where would we be,

Without our Galaxy?

The beautiful home the Milky Way,

The most beautiful, Do you say?

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this thinking what life would be like without our home galaxy. I found a picture of how beautiful and wondrous it is, and wrote about that too. If you have any thoughts, ideas, comments, etc., please post below

I find myself fascinated by the night sky! there's something magical on a clear night, when it's filled with small bright lights shining on the earth. and though i probably shouldn't admit it, i make a wish almost every night on the 1st star i see....lately it seems to be working 🙂
I enjoyed the read and the image you posted with it!
