A Dream of You

RebeccaRose.x

I dreamed about you kissing me
My head against your chest
Of how my hairs stood up to attention
And then laid back down to rest

I dreamed about your face
The way your lips meet mine
I dreamed about your eyes again
When will that be the last time ?

You see I have been happy
I moved on and restored my heart
But your face is implanted in my memories
And it will never be torn apart

My memory is getting rusty
I'm forgetting the reasons why
Remembering only the happy times
As the days went by and by

I'm confused with who you are to me
A stranger I once knew
But yet an emerging mystery
Like you are something new
