The Struggle Is Real

Mr. Lamar Ingraham

There's no doubt in my mind that you are strong,
Making a name for yourself after all has done you wrong;
You were born and equipped with that American Passion,
The one that fights for better when bad things happen.

I see you and what you've been through,
And I know exactly how you feel;
Hey... the struggle is real.

You invested your all in dreams that may not come true,
But the reality is nothing with somebody just like you;
So embrace yourself for believing in the Great Hope,
A kind that tells our souls amazing things the heart spoke.

I see you and what you've been through,
And I know exactly how you feel;
Man... the struggle is real.

Stand up!
Stand strong!
Because No American
Is In This Fight Alone!

WE MAY CRY,
BUT WE CRY TOGETHER;
WE WILL NOT DENIED,
BECAUSE WE HAVE DEFIED TOGETHER.

I see you and what you've been through,
And I know exactly how you feel;
Shoo... the struggle is real.
