SYLVIA

I don't know how real poets do it but ill start with a hey ,
and how i started filling up this jar with poison,
the sort of poison that don't kill you but you can give it the power to,
once you show everyone your weakness or your secret door you cannot close it anymore,
so then you start eating food which ain't even food because it doesn't go to your stomach it just goes straight to your lungs ,
to help you exhale the poison you had to eat the food that cant be consumed or be broken down into an acid
when something makes you happy you get addicted to it just like my cracked Iphone,
it weren't cracked because everything inside it was still there even the things i didn't want was still there ,
so then i grabbed a hammer and smashed it several times but it didn't crack
the screen just got clearer as the poison got stronger ,
did it kill me? no , i just invented the wrong cure,
the cure was a silent violin which didn't make a sound as i picked the wrong one,
the one that left marks from where it had been played but could not be heard,
if it was to be heard your weak so then i became and insider,
the insider thought of playing the violin until that one day she did ,
she had a big performance which she cannot forget because it was NOT beautiful,
not beautiful is what the mirror does,
because it doesn't show you the firefly that lives inside you ,
until you stop eating , stop playing and stop thinking
because that's what the jar wants and not the poison.

The poem meanders around dancing upon truths and comes to a stunning conclusion . It is the containers of our life that actually make who we are as opposed to the toxic world around us .
