Scared

Wren Ann

I'm scared of the sweet words that leave your mouth,

The ones promising me a beautiful future,

I'm just waiting for something to go South,

I'm scared you'll leave me if I give you something you want,

The second it's over you'll walk out the door,

You'll hang my heart on your chain to flaunt,

I'll be left in the room where you took who I am,

I'll be nothing left but a hollow shell,

I'm scared because I know that it's a fifty fifty chance,

Will I do it and take the risk of going through hell.

Or will it all end magically,

The story ending in perfect stance.

Will I do it,

Will I risk it.

Say the words and I'll give you anything.

If he really loves you he will wait . And you should too . Without a bond there is no security .
