Perfectly Imperfect

Uniquemistique

The burden I carry in my dark soul
Makes my heart wither and shrivel
Almost breaking me.
But I will not be broken.

I will not allow myself to be tormented
By the ones who took no pity
When hearing my cries for help.
I will stand strong sigh no regret.

We are all equal
But you see me as less
Than human.
Why?

I don't need an answer to know
That I am nothing less than important
Because
I am perfectly imperfect.

Those who oppress you are certainly less than perect . I'm sure in their minds they think they are perfect . . . bullies .
