Let me put down this knife,

And let me enjoy my life.
I don't wanna die,
I don't wish I was dead,
Go away now depression,
Get out of my head.
You make it so hard,
To just fall asleep,
Unhappy and scared,
You've wounded me deep.
You keep making me feel,
As though I've done something wrong,
It's time for you to go now,
You've been around far too long
